(O’FALLON, Mo., June 17, 2019) Air Evac Lifeteam recently added the Winnfield, La., air medical base to its family. The former Life Air Rescue air medical base in Winnfield is now an Air Evac Lifeteam base. Program Director Jay Caskey said the base transferred from a Med-Trans air medical base to Air Evac Lifeteam on June 10. Air Evac and Med-Trans are both part of Global Medical Resources.
“The aircraft is now red, white and blue, but the mission is still the same – to provide ACCESS to a higher level of emergency health care for residents of central Louisiana,” Caskey said. “Air Evac Lifeteam and Med-Trans are participating providers in the AirMedCare Network, so residents with a membership are still covered.”
