Global Medical Response (GMR) provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the unique needs of you and your family. Generally, employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.
HEALTH AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE
GMR offers employees health coverage for you and your family’s major medical needs through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. Four different medical plan options are available. You and your family’s prescription drug needs are covered through CVS Caremark.
Two different dental plan options are available through Delta Dental of Texas.
Two vision plan options are available through Vision Service Plan (VSP).
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTs (FSA)
GMR offers both Health Care and Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts. You may contribute up to the annual IRS maximum to pay for eligible expenses.
HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNt
If you participate in certain medical plans, a Health Savings Account can be set up to pay for qualified out-of-pocket expenses. You may contribute
up to the annual IRS maximum.
GMR offers Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage that replaces part of your income if you take time off from work due to a qualifying disability.
basic employee and ad&D insurance
You are automatically enrolled in Company-provided life and AD&D coverage at a specified amount.
supplemental life and/or ad&D insurance
You may elect coverage for yourself or your family at a specified amount. You may elect child life coverage of $10,000 per child.
Employee Assistance Program
Administered through Optum Health, the EAP provides confidential support for challenges related to finances, relationships, legal matters, and more.
time off with pay and holidays
GMR provides time off with pay based on your regular full-time service with the Company. Additionally, GMR follows an annual paid holiday schedule.
GMR offers employees the opportunity to save toward retirement through the Employee 401(k) Plan administered through Empower. Employees may voluntarily enroll and receive a Company match of up to 50% of 8% of their salary.
